Navigation Skills - Hills of Cromdale

Learn something new about navigating in the open countryside from a survival expert and qualified National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) instructor who also uses natures way-markers to help him get his bearings. Ask questions or watch him at work as he takes you on a circular walk to visit the Coronation and Jubilee Cairns in the Cromdales Hills. A great oportunity to gain some life saving navigation skills at a fraction of the usual cost!!

Not suitable for chidren or dogs

Meet: 9.30am at Public car park at Ballcorach, Strath Avon (OS Map 36, Grid Ref. NJ155265)
Duration: 6-7 hours

Distance: 10 mile circular 

Difficulty: 4 (Moderate+)

Please bring a compass, packed lunch, stout boots and suitable clothing for the expected weather on the hill tops. You will be provided with maps.
