Woodland Botany Walk

Spend an afternoon with Wild things! own resident ethnobotanist, Jennie Martin on our Plant I.D. and Woodland Botany Walk. We will be walking through the stunning forest landscape of Sanquhar Community Woodland, learning how to identify some of the plants that we find along the way. We will also explore some of the ethnobotanical uses associated with the species we identify, including their historical, cultural and medicinal importance to humans, both past and present. As part of this walk we will also have the chance to taste a selection of some wild teas, harvested throughout the walk.
