A Findhorn Stroll

We start in the dunes near the backshore looking at wildflowers, butterflies and birds; proceeding round the point with seals and a chance to learn about the 1702 lost Town of Findhorn. Along the bay shore we may see an Osprey. A brief visit to the historic Salmon Icehouse and then on to the old harbour, once the busy port for Forres. We will look for signs of the old Findhorn Railway which closed in 1869. Then through the village passing the heritage centre on the way back to your car or to the Captain’s Table Café.
