The Birds of Dava Moor

This is a walk for novice and experienced birdwatchers to look and listen for the birds that spend the summer in and around Dava Moor, taking in not only moorland species but also those that inhabit woodland. The walk will be along the Dava Way, south of Dava Station and return.

Meet: At the Dava Station sign on the Dava Way, Grid ref: NJ008388 at 0845hrs (park along the mown verge on the A940 around Grid ref: NJ006389).

Duration: 3 hours

Distance: 4 miles (6-7kms)

Difficulty: 2 (Easy+)

Bring: Binoculars, drinks/snacks, appropriate walking clothing (mostly on stony track, occasionally puddles)
