Brown Muir: a Study in Depopulation.

Bill Braid will lead a guided heritage walk towards the summit of Brown Muir with emphasis on the geology and moorland ecology of an area which in relatively recent times supported sixteen crofts but which is now worked by just one farm. The object is not so much to cover ground, as to take time to enjoy and contemplate the surroundings.
